What are our classes like?
You're going to love our classes and teachers! El Patio has over 20 years’ experience specialising in Spanish, with courses for everyone – from beginners through to fluency. All our teachers are qualified professionals. Classes are small (5–14 students), rigorous, and fun!
We offer three class formats:
- Face-to-Face (in person in our centres)

- Introduce yourself and give personal information
- Spell and pronounce clearly and accurately
- Use everyday greetings in real situations
- Numbers (0-99)
Class 2
- Identify common types of accommodation and services
- Talk about accommodation services, dates, aand prices
- Express preferences for accommodation
Class 3
- Identify and use basic food and drink vocabulary
- Express preferences, allergies and intolerances
- Order food and drinks, and read prices
Class 4
- Ask for directions in Spanish using common questions
- Interpret and give direction
- Describe location using spatial language
Class 5
- Identify essential travel items
- Talk about travel incidents and ask for help
- Tell the time and talk about schedules
- Describe simple health problems
